Very good, always hot and the service staff are very friendly and helpful. Do not confuse KotS with fast food, no you don’t wait a long time, but it’s DEFINITELY NOT FAST FOOD. Relax, enjoy some hush puppies, yes they are delicious, have a coffee, tea or your favorite soft drink, and soak up the ambiance. This is old school fish 🐠 camp, like your grandfather took you to. Bring the family, friends, coworkers, church group or just come with your son or daughter. It’s a great place to make a memory. Your child will ask you to bring them back again and again. Now I didn’t write this long review just because I like tapping on my phone, it’s REAL! Try it, you’ll like it. Tell ‘em Kevin Jr told you it’s real good, they may treat you with a slice of key lime pie, or maybe not. You should buy a slice to take home for later. I've been eating here ever since they opened the place, and my food from here has always been excellent. I was recently told while attempting a call-in order that their 4-item fried combo is no longer available, but the guy on the phone sounded questionable, so I'm going to check on that a little further. Also, I didn't like management's response to Bottom Feeder TV's comment on "frog legs tasted like dirt". It was a cheap shot to lay the blame of muddy-tasting frog legs on kitchen employees ... when fish tastes like dirt, fish in a different pond (or better yet, get 'em from a river) ... don't blame the cook 👀.
